Calgary Stampede Exhibition


Actually, it is an agricultural exhibition, its roots go back to 1886, that time Alberta surely was a rural province but today it produces less than two percent of growth. People love to relive the past and this exhibition is an essential part of the Calgary Stampede. Agricultural exhibition consist of nearly 50 agricultural programs organized by thousands of exhibitors, one visiting cannot get tired because of plentiful competitions held as part of the exhibition. Events like World Series of Cutting, World Championship Blacksmith Competition etc. These attract not only millions of tourists but top blacksmiths from around the world. On the other hand especially if you with family, it is amazing see farm and ranch demonstrations where there are numerous breeds of livestock along with stock dog trials and team penning competitions.



Also called Calgary Stampede Midway, is actually operated by North American Midway Entertainment and started by Conklin Shows, since 1976. The midway is considered an important part of the Stampede and it begins on Thursday night before other events of the festival. This night is also called "sneak-a-peek" night. One can enjoy concert called Nashville North and Coca-Cola Stage and more.

Stampede Market


Also called Stampede Market is a famous market last for 10 days, located the northwest corner of the park at the BMO center, it is a huge place where vendors sell artwork, toys, household goods, food and many other items. The market is divided into sections; popular one is called 'The Western Oasis, which offers cowboy and western-themed artwork, bronze statues to take back home along with, craftwork and foods. Many people love wine at stampede market. The competition gets high among vendors because every year almost million people visit it.
